battery replacement?

Open each drawer at the bottom of the Room unit, note which way round the 4 AA batteries are inserted, swap over, leave drawers open, go to reciever unit, press button 1 and whilst holding it down press button 2 and release, red led should flash 1 per second, return to the room unit, slide up the RIGHT hand draw, followed by the LEFT draw, afer a few seconds the room unit and reciever should resume communications.
you may have to reset the times and temperatures on the room unit
