How to bleed a Trianco TRO bf boiler?

Hi, have been away for a few days and come back to find the boiler had run out of oil - our fault for not checking it before we left!!
We have had a delivery but the boiler will not relight, i assume its either sludge in the pipe or air as the reset switch will not fire it up.
How do you bleed or clear the sludge as its not best obvious on this boiler??
Any help kindly accepted.

Thanks John!
I'd run out of oil and couldn't get it going again. I followed your advice and it worked a treat. Saved me the cost of the plumber coming out!
Cheers.

Martin.

Sorry, i know nothing about these boilers as i have only been used to gas.
I cannot see a valve on the tank itself or protruding pipework nor can i see at present where the oil pipe comes up into the boiler.
Not sure what pump i have but if anyone has any pics / diagrams which can point me in the right direction or show me what i have i would be very happy indeed.

Turn the tank valve off, then disconnect the flexible oil pipe that connects into the burner pump. Put the end into a jam jar then get someone to turn the tank valve back on. When the oil flows freely again without air, connect it back up to the pump and try for go again. If your pump is a BFP type there could be a bleed nipple on the top - if its a Riello then there's one on the side.
