Use "non pumis" creamy mechanics hand cleaner you can buy at Pep Boys. Use seperate coton terry cloathes or old 100% T-Shirt cloath for each step.
1. Wipe off as much of the vasoline as possible with first cloath.
2. Take another cloath wrap it around your hand and dip into the hand cleaner, you don't need alot, and start wipeing in a circular motion from center of the screen outwards toward the the edges of the screen. Add cream as needed. Don't push the cream into the gap between the screen and the cabinet.
3. Use another cloath to wipe off the hand cleaner. Use a Q-Tip for the edges of the screen were it meets the cabinet.
4. Now take another cloath and bunch it up in your hand and spay it with Windex or similar glass cleaner. (You can also use a rag dipped in 50/50 White vinigar & water, damp not dripping) I prefer windex spray. Now wipe the screen with the cloath like cleaning a window & wipe with a dry clean cloath. It might take a couple of times to get all the haze off. Again us a Q-Tip for the edges. And your done, good as new. Takes about 5 min.
NOTE: The creamy hand cleaner contains no harsh solvents and disolves with water. I used it once when my 2yr. old son put a whole jar of vaoline in his hair. Worked great and rinsed right out.
