Mend Renault Megane Expression 1.6 Brake Light Electrical

renault megane ?

i recently replaced the brake light bulb in my megane expression 1.6 2002 plate. now when i press the brake pedal the instrument indicastors i.e speedo needle etc light up on my dash and the millage display and radio display dim.
Anyone help!!

sounds like a bad earth or possibly you have used wromg bulb
