maybe so.try this.go to your t.v.,then push the power on.when the t.v. comes on showing anything at all, go to your handheld remote controller.Push the t.v. button quickly.Then push either the volume or the channel button on\off very quickly until the t.v. shuts off.push the enter button to store the memory of the t.v. shutting off.then you should be able to use the remote controller to operate the t.v. normally. it may take a while doing this so be patient.
