I cant get my filter cover off!!! It seems to be stuck - like its melted a little bit into the holder. It just wont turn! Is there any other way of accessing the filter?

Remove the water pump, very accessible from the back, remove the center cover. You can get most of the water out by pulling the drain line through the back plate and lower it into a bucket. The rest of the water I just used towels. Open the water pump and see if there is any debris in it, I found a quarter. Reinstall and try it. Pretty easy to do, took me a half hour.

E2 - Is the code for the Debris Filter being blocked.

Had this before and found a sock had been minced in the mechanisim and had jammed the propellor.
The tricky bit is getting access to it with all the water in it.
You could try the manual release button, catch the water and drain it manually.
Then open up the filter to see what is causing the issue. It took a few days for the debris to come out, and if I recall 3 attempts at clearing it until all was fine.
Usually this is something you can do yourself for free, I would expect if you called out under warranty you might get charged.

we have a samsung front loading washer, it has stopped in mid cycle with error code nd...any advice. we've missplaced our warranty and lowes is no help. we can't get the door off. tried all the - shut it off, change the cyle, power cord, etc. no luck.

check wash filter a bottom of machine. Once you open the caseing. At the front next to the filter there is a small hose to relase the water in the machine once you are finished release the filter lid and you can see if there is any rip carments stopping the small propeller fron turning hope this helps Keni
