The temp gauge go hi when i drive more than 10 km. i have checked the real temp and it doesn't go hi on the3 enjin. It go' s hi for a while then return to normal. I have checked the cooling system but found no problem. Replaced the temp sensor(R1000) but the problem is still there. The citroen technitions told me it could be the fan, and to disconnect it and see if the fault is still there since they have a similar fault on the C2 model. I have tried it but the problem is still there. I live about 750 km from the nearest citroen dealer and have to drive the car to the dealer but with the problem I am not sure to take the chance to drive the distance with a hi temp gauge. How could I isolate the fault and fix it.
I own a C2 , and have the exact problem as you, apparently the citroen engineers can not fix this problem...so buy a Ford next time or a vauxhall,, at least they can fix there own problems
