No way Dazza, a cracked alloy wheel should be scrapped at once as it has obviously been subjected to substantial impact. It will fail at the MOT anyway.

yes it can be repaired depending on the size,approx 50 pound ,make sure you put it on the back of your car.on the front itl shake you steering,could be dangerous on the front,i work for a trained tyre bay.i would get a new wheel though if it was mine.good luck
