Mend Makita MT270X Start Trouble Starting

I just can't start my MT270X grass trimmer?

Ever since I bought this one I have had trouble starting it and particularly when trying to restart it. At the moment I just can't use it at all. What gap should there be on the make and break system because the spark is so weak. Can anybody help because I can't find the manual.
