Hi again i have a 1.8 laguna rt, its started using water within the last week, lots of water, anyway, how can i best find where its leaking, carpets are dry, no emulsification of oil just the same colour it was before, and i cant see any water coming from hose connections, i was thinking of bunging in radweld or similar but as the heater matrix was replaced winter 2004 im pretty loathe to do this in case it blocks again, any ideas or suggestions appreciated guys

Thanks for the reply mate, heater matrix was done a my work by the mechanics, think the fault has now been found, rubber seal in the radiator cap was knackered, but typical of me thinking th eworst ie head gasket etc, thanks again for the help though if it continues to leak il be back

Any smell of antifreeze in the passenger compartment ??
There is quite a spagetti of hoses at the back of the engine it migth be worthwhile putting the car on a lift and checking for leaks at the back of the engine.
How are you at replacing the heater rad ??
