whirlpool fridge pump cycles on then off?

whirlpool fridge pump cycles on then right back off again. No cooling.

Hello,

I am assuming you mean the compressor is cycling on and off. Your going to have to access the compressor in the back of the fridge and check the relay and overload for continuity. Both are plugged into the compressor. Remove the plastic cap that clips on to the compressor and carefully pull the relay and overload off the compressor and test them.
