Carver gas fire?

I have a Carver 3600 stc not working, was considering fitting a manual Piezo igniter, woulove to see your photo's of the job you did .....Where can I view them. Thank you in advance.

Has a 3600stc heater got a aa battery think my heater is a auto so will it still have a aa battery

trying to locate a control switch for a carver fire it is same as the 5500 model ,it slides across to give degrees of blown air not sure if the 5500 one will fit .It has 5 settings on it same as the 5500 model .

Hi, had the same problem myself. Just bought a socondhand van but didn't check it out properly and found the igniter didn't work. Gary at Arcsystems offered a repair but my solution was to drill a 18mm hole to the left of the fire and fit a piezo igniter from a bar-bq. Cost £1.50 from www.bes.co.uk part number 7344. The existing wire to the electrode can be threaded through the casing and pushed on to the igniter. Time to do the job 10mins. !st press and the pilot was alight. Photos available if required.
