Mend Aiwa Cd Player Work Again

How can I fix my CD player & make it work again?

My CD player IS kind of old, but it was working fine & all of a sudden, one day when I went to play a CD - it wouldn't do ANYTHING at all !! The lite comes on like it's going to work - but when I hit the play button, it won't spin or do anything. (??)(It's an AIWA - 1995. It's a CD/cassette player/ AM/FM radio combo. thing) What's really strange is my sister got one of the same kind, at the same time as me (Christmas 1995-?) & hers did the same thing......just stopped working!!!

The Cd player is an AIWA and the cd will not drop and release one cd at a time. It acted like they were stuck together. Is it on the electrical board that controls everything. It plays 7 cd's and has the radio and tape all in one machine. I bought it around 1997 from Circuit City. I understand they don't make them anymore.
