how can i fix my printer?

I have a Lexmark printer/copier/fax machine that has stopped working.It is fairly new,maybe 1 year old.The peoblem seems to be with the rollers that the paper feeds into.There is nothing I can see caught anywhere.One side of the paper seems to go too fast?I don't know.Any help?I hate the thought of buying a new one if it is an easy enough repair. I appreciate any help,thanks.
