the alarm system should have an internal fuse, check it, it is a small glass tube type, also beware that it may of been a fault that caused the electric switch to turn off in the first place. If this does not rectify the problem, inside you may have a reset button, to reset back to factory default settings, if the above fails try resetting the system.
