seiko battery one plays a meldody the pendulem goes
side to side like see saw, with maginets either side on
the moving pendulem hope you can help

the clock is a seiko penbulum is a rocking one side to side. it is a battery run one and plays a tune on the hour , but pendulum does not move, hope you can help as it was a present for my friend.

A clock name might be helpful Numbers mean nothing.
Can't see transportation would harm it if the pack it was in hasn't been chucked about.
I also assume the pendulum was removed before packing as floating about on the arm can damage the arm the pendulum hooks on to. The pendulum swing arm the end that makes the 'tick' 'tock' that the wheel is not stuck on the swing arm rocker point preventing the arm from swinging. Basically trial and error as I can't see it. I take it it wasn't wound up [if clockwork one] or if so it wasn't overwound.
