Hi Our kitchen mixer tap has become stiff to turn, the spout can be taken of by a screw at the back but doesn't allow you to access the taps mechanics, also there are no screws etc on the top of the taps, does this mean I have to completly remove the tap to access from the bottom as this will be hard to get to. Any ideas please
Turn off hot water feed to tap and remove tap coat moving parts inside with vaseline [petrolium jelly] replace tap it should be easy. My bath tap did the same and had to do that every month.
