Mend Philips 400 Stereo Removed Cd

my atsra stereo is saying safe in the display?

i removed my standard phillips 400 stereo for a cd player put it in a box in the garage. now i have tried to put it back in the car and its just came up with safe on the display is there any way of sorting this out? i have the code for it but its never asked for it just went straight to SAFE.
