Mend Zanussi ZTF1250 Jetsystem 1250

Zanussi Jetsystem 1250 - control gone?

Lights come on, but dial will not automatically rotate through cycle. It will fill up for example, if mannually moved to a 'Rinse' setting, but the machine just stays filled. If I move it to a drain or spin setting, it drains, HOWEVER it will not spin at all - at no setting.

Terminal ? or could it be the switch ?

Check the motor brushes.if the carbon bit is 10mm or less this could be your problem
