Mend Proline PDW080 Dishwasher Problem Appliance

Proline PDW080 Slimline Dishwasher?

My dishwasher seems to me stuck, when clicking the wash cycle knob round to start it begins as usual, however the cycle knob never actually moves... The washer was on for over 4 hours this morning before I realised it was taking so long.

Does anyone have any ideas what could be the problem and how to fix it?

TURN OFF POWER. u can get at it by the screws on the inside edges,once undone two plastic pins holds top Partisan in place, two plastic clips hold timer in.

This is more of a workaround than an outright fix.

Time how long it runs until it sticks.

Then get a timer switch and programme it to run for one minute longer.

All you need to do then is to manually click the dial on.
