murray push mower repair?

How do you place the blade adapter/holder on a Murray 22" push mower? I cannot get the old one off the shaft.

In the case of the adapter not coming off easily you may have to heat it with a tortch and use a pry bar to remove it. If that doesn't work you will have to saturate the adapter with a substance called BP Blasater, this is a form of penetrateing oil. this will loosen the adapter in a shoort while.

try soaking the adaptor with w.d 40 or marvel mystic oil then use a puller and light taps on the sides of adaptor should work
