fridge will not work?

electrolux rm212 caravan refrigerator with electronic e-igniter about 18 years old recently purchased with van, unable to get working
gets very hot to rear when connected to mai re-igniter keeps clicking when connected to gas supply
would like to puchase same type of fridge to keep original if still available & would fit in same position without any alterations to cabinets
