my dryer is a hotpoint aquarius condenser dryer tdc 30 and i was wondering what this box is for.i bought it second hand so i have no instructions.thanks

Hi, if the box is below the door on the left hand side then this is the condenser unit, It condenses the steam and turns it into water so the pump can then pump it up to the water container. You must clean this out every 3 - 4 weeks ( run water through it, A garden hose is the best method. )
