Mend Kenwood Chef Motor Running Turning

Kenwood Chef Motor running but not turning the hook?

While mixing the maxing started making a clicking sound then the hook stopped turning. I took off the silver plate that the hook clips into and quite an amount of metal filings fell out. I guess something is stripped but what?
