IF YOUR CLOCK ISNT TURNED ON FOR HEATING OR HOT WATER IT CANT BE THE 3 WAY OR ZONE VALVES AS THEY HAVE NO POWER TO THEM WITHOUT THE CLOCK CALLING FOR HEAT

IF YOU DONT HAVE ANY LOOSE OR CROSSED WIRES THEN THE ONLY THING IT CAN BE IS THAT IF YOU HAVE A PERMANENT LIVE GOING TO THE BOILER THEN THE CIRCUIT BOARD COULD BE FAULTY TO CHECK THIS YOU NEED TO REMOVE THE SWITCH LIVE FROM THE BOILER AND TEST ACROSS THIS WITH EARTH OR NEUTRAL FOR 240 VOLTS IF IT IS PRESENT WITH THE CLOCK TURNED OFF YOUVE A WIRING FAULT IF NOT CICIUT BOARDS CHECK YOU HAVENT NAILED ANY BOARDS DOWN RECENLTY AND NAILED A CABLE

Yes this has just started to happen - no one has touched wiring or anything. Whats our easiest solution?

HAS THIS JUST STARTED TO HAPPEN OR HAS SOMEONE MESSED WITH WIRING THIS SOUNDS LIKE A WIRING FAULT ( IGNORE THE FIRST ANSWER I DIDNT SEE YOUD ALREADY RENEWED THE PROGRAMMER )

if your boiler is staying on permanatly then you are getting a permanent switch live to your boiler, the first place the live comes from is the programmer/clock, test this by using a continuity tester and test for continuity across live and central heating on ( with power isolated and programmer removed test across the pins on the actual programmer not back plate, if no continuity you could have a loose wire touching another ) DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE OR REWIRE THIS SYSTEM IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING IT WILL COST A LOT TO REWIRE AND RECTIFY
