Mend Renault Laguna 1.8 Fuel Gauge Temperature

How can I fix my petrol guage. Renault Laguna 1.8 1994?

My fuel guage stopped working about 1 year ago.In the summer time it creeps up to show a 1/4full even though its got a full tank.In the winter it just shows empty(with a full tank) with the warning light on.

first thing is to check the wiring at the fuel sender unit, then i take it the fuse is ok for it? If these sem on then you will need a new sender unit, shouldnt be to expensive and quite easy to fit.
