can anyone help. I`ve got a 02 Reg Vauxhall zafira 2.0 dti ( diesel ).
basically it has developed a fault whereby it is really short of power mainly when accelerating. The electronics control indicator light is staying on when the engine is ticking over. if you turn of the engine then restart and drive, it stays off until you leave it ticking over but the power fault is still there whether or not the light is on or not.
any ideas.....
Hi, if you take it to an auto electrician, they can plug your car into the computer and any faults will come up and may diagnose the exact fault. It costs about £30. Try unplugging the air flow metre and then try it.

how many and what lights come on ? does the engine sound change?
