Mend Repair Toilet Water

how can I fix my high level cistern push button flusher?

The push button of my high level cistern toilet tank just is not working anymore.
I just pushed the button to flush the toilet and water started comming out of the button like crazy.
The button feels like it is loose , not like before that you had to put pressure on it to flush it.

Is it easy ti fix? or should I get a new toilet.
