Mend Homelite UT20818 Problems Start Choke

homelite UT20818 edger running problems?

I have the homelite UT20818 edger and when I pull the cord it will start but to keep it running I have to mess with the choke lever. Once I stop messing with the lever the unit will stall out. It use to be after messing with lever it would run for a while but not any more. HELP....
