how to change beko cooker heating element ( DV 5531)?

my beko dv555 oven just stopped working the hob works and the grill works please tell me if its the element and if so how do i replace it please.

Fairly simple to do - get the triple ring element when you buy a new one. Isolate the power, remove the back panel, and remove the trays from the oven.
From the back of the oven, just to the right of the main central fan, remove the 2 screws and 3 electrical spades on the element (take note where each wire goes). Remove panel inside the back of the main oven and slide the element out. Replace element and secure 2 two screws to hold it in place. You may need to twist slightly to find screw holes. Once element is in place, replace cover in the oven and the panel on the back.... job done. Hope it helps

Just changed the element on my D533w with help from the suggestions and instructions on this site.Thank you everyone..the wife said IM THE MAN!
p.s. be careful/wear gloves when removing the back panel,the edges are quite sharp,i got cuts on 2 fingers!

it was very easy we ordered the element from ebay cost a tenner and came the next day. my boyfriend was at work so i thought id have a go (im not tech savvy) following stans advice above...hey presto ten mins later oven is now working and boyfriend is speechless ;o)

I just changed the heating element in my DVC6531 which is almost the same. the worst bit was getting the back panel off and back on again but it seems to have worked and is all going OK now. It is fiddly but not really difficult and safe as long as you make sure everything is off at the main cooker switch and the fuse box to be sure.

Unless you are electrically competant do not access this, simply replacing the element may be only a short term fix. There could be a few reasons the element has blown. It could be that the fan is faulty or the main oven stat is not regulating temp correctly. My advice would be to contact your local repair man who will be able to fix the appliance cheaper than the manufacturers.

if you look in the oven at the back you will see the black panel which covers the fan. This has two small screws at the top. remove these and remove the panel, you will see the element surrounding the fan.
Now take off the back panel and behind the panel that forms the connection between the mains supply you will see the connections to the element. remove the connections then unscrew the two screws and the element can now be removed.
