Mend Singer 478 Sewing Machine Stitches Bobbin

How can I fix timing on a Singer 478?

I think the timing is off on the bobbin thread, that is, needle is threaded properly, etc, but it won't make stitches. The model is Singer 478. It was working fine until I attempted to sew some very thick suede backed faux fur.
