The wire at the plug end can break but not very noticable.....I cut off plug and fitted a new one!

possible metal fatigue in the cable somewhere. Mine was just below where the cable enters the moulded plug. Wiggled it and it would come on. Solution: chopped off 4 inches below the moulded plug and fitted new spare 13amp 240v plug. Clamped the cable inside the plug a little tighter than normal to compensate for 'pulling' at full stretch when in use. Good luck!

Check the under carriage between the wheels, you should see a blue & red wire. Ensure that the blue wire is connected to the clear plastic, like wise with the red cable. My blue cable had come lose over time. I just had to reconnect the male to female connectors.
