Hotpoint Aquarius Condenser Tumble Dryer CDT00?

The reverse action ceased to function yesterday in our 3 year old dryer i.e. it revolves constantly in one direction only. We can still use it but would like to fix it. My question, is the reversing switch part of the timer or is the motor controlled from the small PCB?
