I have a ADP8352 intergrated Diplomat dishwasher showing 6 flashing lights?

Diplomat ADP8352 intergrated dishwasher curently not working well if atall. The machine over heats on the first two cycles with the 3rd cycle the only one that appears to work, though, the noise and time are different than when working normally ie noisy and taking longer to run it's cycle. It appears to be running hot as during the cycle steam appears out of the top of the door and on the first two cycles it steams away if I would let it! When running (door closed) I can see the led light cycle indicator flashing (is this normal?) When the cycle is interupted all the red indicators flash and the beeb will sound. Please help.
