I have the same problem but it has now been fixed.

It could be 2 problem: broken belt or faulty capacitor

(i) Make sure you unplug the dryer for over 24 hours before any attemp to have a look / fix / replace it esp capacitor as it still holds charges when the dryer is OFF.

(ii) Remove 2 screws at the top back of the dryer. Then you have to give it a few hard nugde (just slightly above the timer & the other end) to remove the top panel.

(iii) When the top panel is removed, you should be able to see if the belt is still around the drum. If it's not, clearly its a broken belt. Feel the belt, whether it is tight or not if it is still attached around the drum to see if it's becoz of being lose, hence not turning the drum when switch on.

(iv) I would suggest to get someone to change the belt if it's lose or broken unless you are good at DIY. Unfortunately, I dont know how to change a belt.

(v) If the belt is in good condition, try helping to turn the drum when you press the start button to give it a helping hand (while the top panel is still off). If it spins when you have helped, but not spin when there is no help, then it's most probably a faulty capacitor.

Remember, capacitor still holds charge when the machine is off! If you have just perform (v), then it is not advisable to continue until you have unplug the dryer for over 24 hours again!

(vi) Remove the top panel again with instructions (i) & (ii).

(vii) The right panel (where the timer is) is then removed by unscrewing the screws at the rear side. The capacitor is a cyclinder component which sits at the bottom of the machine, by the motor.

(viii) Carefully remove it by removing the 4 wires plug onto the 2 terminals of the capacitor. Once the wires is off, unscrew the capacitor as it is screws down by turning it around, not by screws.

It usually is a 7 micro farad, but it could be 8. Check the faulty component that you have just removed and get a replacement in any tumble dryer repair shop locally or get a replacement online from Espares.

Hope this helps
