how can i programe my crest universal remote??

I have a small standard crest universal remote control, its about two years old very standard, 1x volume 1x chanel changer, mute, av, power(red) setup, sleep buttons, i have lost instructions, and want to programme to my sharp tv, can you help me???......

1. Turn your television on manually so you have something on the screen. 2.Push and hold the setup button until the red light blinks twice then release the setup button, the red light should stay on. 3.Push and hold down both mute(speaker with line through it) and AV buttons together at the same time until the red light flashes twice then release both buttons, the red light should stay on. 4.On the remote control press the channel up or channel down button one press at a time and continue until the television turns off, as soon as the television turns off stop pressing the channel button. 5.Push the AV button once to store(memorize) the code, the red light will blink twice then go out, the remote is now ready to use for your television.
If the remote does not work you may have gone past the the code when pushing the channel button, repeat steps 2 to 4 doing step 4 slower until your television turns on or off, then step 5.
I hope this helps, it took me a few hours hours to work it out(I like a challenge).
