Mend Indesit D61 Dishwasher Pump Noise

Indesit D61 Doesn't Take in Water?

My Indesit D61 will not take in water. Whichever wash cycle I put it on, there is a noise which I assume is the pump, then it clicks on to the next part of the program and stops there.

The waste pump will remove any water I manually put in the machine.

Help much appreciated!

They have a solenoid operated valve to admit water - yours may be defective.
