toilet over fills?

when running taps the toillet system over fills. this is on a combi boiler. recently i had the divert valve change due to no hot water.

change ballfloat to high pressure,or change orifice to the smllest hole one ,large low pressure ,small high pressure

check the ball for a leak, check washer in the inlet system is not split/worn, check that the arm pivots freely
this is what controls the water input to toilet.
