replacing chains?

how do i replace chains in a grandfather clock? my husband was given a grandfather clock but the chains and wieghts are off. how do i put them back on ?

chains go over the sprocets once they are over each sprocket . the side of the chains that go up when you pull them have the hooks put on them and weights hung on them. heaviest weight on tbe right next heaviest on the left lightest in the middle.
