How to program a Sharp XE-A102?

I need to know how to program this cash register to do the following: This is for a dance club where the admission is $2.00 for members and $4.00 for non-members. I don't want to bother with the cents so I have used it as follows - hit number 2 and then dept. 1, then hit number 4 for dept. 2. I use the blue 3 for dues, and blue 4 for the amount of water we sell. When I want to run a tape at the end of the evening I want to know how many members paid and total, how many non-members and total, how many paid dues and total and how much was collected for water. I want to end it that day and start over for the following week. I have it set up I think for collecting the money but am not sure how to eliminate all of the other stuff that shows up on the tape and I wasn't sure about how to end it. I moved the key to Z/PGM and hit CHK. That didn't work so then I moved the key over to X (I believe) and hit CA/AT/INS or CHK. I really don't know what I did. Can you help me to just keep it simple?

Hi.
You are asking too much of it. You bought an entry level machine that has very little configuration, so you will have to put up with the other information on the daily report. It should be telling you the quantity and amount for each department, so that is what you were after. You have to have the key on Z at the end of the day if you want the machine to reset each day.
