The helpline for Challenge Xtreme is 0845 4505299, they're rubbish at starting, mine is 2 weeks old and it took me 20 attempts ( no kidding ) to fire it up, very prone to flooding. In that time I could have cut the grass twice with my £25 electric mower from B&Q. Previously had a Briggs and Stratton, it was fantastic.

I got some wheels for mine off eBay - not a spare for this mower but they appear to be a standard size and the new ones are fine. The air box is a right pain and mine has broken several times - I found this site looking for one myself. I found the best way to repair it was to use a staple gun to hold the bits together (you can't do it all the way round as it would affect the seal) and then cover with fibre glass or Araldite. Glue alone didn't last five minutes but this way it holds together until the next time I accidentally run it into a tree!

The Airfilter box snapping is a weakness, mine snapped too. Superglue does NOT work, but use Araldite (from Boyes, Wilkinsons etc, and it does work!

About the air filter housing, I contacted the helpline on my Challenge Xtreme SLM40C mower and they gave me the number for Solen Tools; 023 8057 8057. They said that they are currently out of stock but will have some fliter housings in about 2 - 3 weeks

Snapped Air filters and the difficulty in replacing them are obviously a weakness of this otherwise wonderful mover - cos this has happened to me too!!

I am not sure about the "Extreme" range, but I have a Challenge CPLM mower, which has the adress of the manufacturer as Power Devil, Mill Road, Rugby. I hope that helps
