SMART DRIVE 708 WONT START?

I have a f&p smart drive 708 it lights up but nothing works, no fill, no spin, nothing, can you help?

What happens when you press start? Does the light on the top row stop blinking & remains steady & can you hear a beep? If so, you probably have a problem with either the lid switch or out of balance switch.
