Mend Vauxhall Zafira Starting

vauxhall zafira starting problems?

hiya, ive bought a used zafira 54 plate and it has a weird problem. if the car is facing upwards it wont start but if it is facing downwards (i live on a steep rd) then it will.

what could it be?

The cause could be if you've not got much fuel in the tank the fuel sensor wont operate so the managment unit wont let the engine start without fuel. Mine does it sometime's and i have to roll off the drive and face down hill for a few min's even when i've parked up with a quater of a tank.
