Mend Husqvarna YTH1542XP Motor Riding Mower

kawasaki motor on husqvarna yth1542xp ?

I have a husqvarna model yth1542xp riding lawn mower with a kawasaki 15 hp motor. It will crank but when put in gear and driven stalls and dies very quickly. The fuel filter is good and have drained the gas and put fresh gas in it but don't know what could be wrong. Can you help?

I had the same thing happen when I started up my tractor this spring. I charged the battery and it started up, put it in forward and it quit. The battery needed to be replaced.
