Mend Ariston Margherita 2000 Inlet Leak Drum

Ariston washing machine inlet valve(s) leak to drum?

Ariston Margherita 2000 when shut down fills with water after a period of some hours. This appears to be from cold water inlet valve leaking slightly and water eventually floods the drum. This has just started recently - I know I can prevent this by shutting off the inlet taps, but as the machine is used by different people the house, it is a problem. Can a new valve assembly be fitted?
