my card key unlocks the doors but does not lock them.. when it unlocks a small light on the card comes on but when I press the button to lock, no light comes on and the car does not lock... also how do you lock all of the doors with the valet key
my card opens doors but does not lock them the key rattels how would i get it fixed its 170 of the dealers any help

re the quiry on how to lock you doors.
1. make sure all your doors are closed.
2. open the rear passneger side door.
3. reach into the where you interior door loock is.
4. push the bit that locks the doors.
5. close the rear passenger door.
this should lock your doors and the car can be open via the card key or the emergency key (this is only done via the front passneger door).

there will likely be a rattle inside the cardkey
this is the lock pushbutton that has fallen off the PCB
The card can be repaired by a professional electronics engineer used to working on SMD PCBs. Dont try and repair it yourself as its not easy.

i have a renault lagunna 11 and you can lock it with the card but you cant open it can you tell me if its the card or the sensor thanks

Ive just had the same problem on my 54 plate laguna, I rang up renault, told them my problem, they said yeah you need a new card, i said how much, oh 160 sir, i said ok i will get back to you on that. Had a think, changed the battery, hay presto both buttons work.
