fisher & pykal washing machine 4 years old?

code 49 comes up , i have an extention hose that i
use for grey water , one day i went out and mowed
the lawn and left the hose hanging up on a tree ,
it sat there for three days while my wife did the washing , thats when the fault appeared, is there any thing i could do to be reset it , the soliniods arent allowing the water to come through , how could this have happen if the water pump is restricted, thanks Tony.

Code 49 is a cold water inlet valve fault. Check that both wires (blue) are connected to the cold valve inside the top panel & the cold water hose is on the cold inlet valve. If both are ok then replace the inlet valve with a new one. The drain hose problem should have no bearing on the cold valve fault. Maybe just a coincidence they happened at same time.
