Mend BT Studio 1000 Cable Connector Connect

How can I repair my BT Studio 1000 Telephone cable with a new connector?

How do you fit a connector with four points to connect to, when the line from the telephone only has two wires within the cable, one red and one green? do they go into two of the four connecting points and if so which ones?
