nn-s262wf panasonic microwave turns off?

Hi, not a simple one this, the 2 second failure tends to suggest the main control panel, does the cavity light come on ?. if it does that rules out a lot. the most likely cause of failure is the power supply. I am not at my workshop machine right now so I am not sure if this is an "inverter" model. Worth noting tho' panasonic warranty their magnetrons and inverters for 3 years. You pay the labour though, should not be more than £35. Contact Panasonic customer services at Bracknell, berks.
