Mend Proform 2500 Help Work Bad

Help with Proform 2500?

I just got a Proform 2500. All the lights come on and the incline/decline work but it will not run. The guy I got it from said something about some kind of card being bad but it has a small red card you can insert. Not sure if thats the card he's talking about or not?? Anyone know what could be wrong? Thanks!
